Sports Aerobics
While many of us have long held associations with things like aerobics, it is true that many of the best sports Enterprises have long endorsed aerobics as a big part of their training regimen and you can see your favorite players in baseball, football, tennis, hockey, or any other sport you really appreciate doing their aerobics routine out before the game begins in many cases.
Aerobics typically means stretching, strength training, and exercise which will make you fitter and more flexible and will allow you the stamina to be able to get through whatever game is that you're playing. Sports aerobics is long been around serving that function and many others in its long history. If you have ever played on a team or competed in a sport or even marched in the band you have no doubt done some kind of stretching routine that preceded the whatever enterprise you are going out on. This is because of the recent popularity of things like sports aerobics and aerobic training and it's not just Jane Fonda anymore who dictates what aerobics means anybody else. It is for this reason that sports aerobics should be approached from a very scientific standpoint and should be completed comprehensively before any workout routine so that you don't pull a muscle and you get the maximum amount of benefit from whatever workout it is that you are doing.
Even if you've ever been to the gym you probably have seen the aerobics trainers doing workout routines which are really just warm ups that let people did in the best of their warm-ups before they start their real work out for the day. Some gymnasiums in the morning will run 15 minute aerobic workout stretching sessions every morning or something like that whenever they have a big group of people who come in to do workouts but they don't want miss any of their muscle groups and want to be sure they are doing all their stretching in the right manner so they will often offer a stretching class taught by a repertory of the fitness instructors.

However if you are more interested in finding out about sports aerobic competitions or sports aerobics used in gymnastics that is something else entirely and should be looked into by the proper resources so that you are sure you're doing the right thing.
