Olympic gymnasts are able to train for 10 or 12 hours a day from the time they are very young and are pushed and pushed and pushed by rich parents or whomever is pushing them to get to this place and they have been doing it for quite some time and this is often the difference between many people who are able to become Olympic gymnasts and people who were just at one point so full of potential.

If you are or if you view yourself as an Olympic caliber gymnast however then you no doubt have been practicing for many years and you no doubt have a great support staff in place. There's nothing wrong with being so devoted and dedicated to one thing that you are able to go at it 24/7/365 with the chancy you'll never even make it to the Olympics. In fact the very good chance because there are only so many people who were even selected to become an Olympic gymnast. And with all the competition that there is out there and all the other talented people who are up against you, it is a big thing to say the you are talented enough to become an Olympic gymnast and this is one of the things that matters more than anything, attitude.

If you go back any amount of time and look at past Olympic gymnasts you will be up to see they all have a common thread to their story. They all had a lot of money and they all practiced a lot of time and they all were very talented. 2004 Olympic gymnasts were all from a similar field and even Amy Chow the Olympic gymnast was able to overcome many obstacles. However Olympic gymnasts also have a tragic side as well. Olympic gymnasts sometimes die from eating disorders or other physical anomalies is when their training so hard to become the best Olympic gymnast possible.

While training very hard and working very hard at one thing is always a great character trait, nothing is worth dying for, not even Olympic gold.
